Dlouhodobá archivace kulturních dat v ČR: Jak se reportuje do EU?

Docela poučné je se podívat, jak se o digitalizaci a dlouhodobé archivaci v českých paměťových institucích podávají zprávy do EU.

Na webu Digitální agenda pro Evropu jsou zveřejněny monitorovací zprávy o postupu za roky 2011 až 2013 za řadu evropských zemí. Zprávy se týkají nejen národní strategie digitalizace, dlouhodobé archivace, ale třeba také problematiky autorsky chráněných děl.

Česká zpráva se odvolává na českou Strategii digitalizace MKCR (která, jak známo, "nebude mít žádné dopady na státní rozpočet") a dozvíme se z ní spoustu zajímavých věcí:

• Ke strategii bude vytvořena pracovní skupina, která bude sledovat její naplňování, ba dokonce "As an outcome of its work the group will create an exhaustive overview of the information and methodologies in the area of cultural content digitisation. The group will also be involved in preparing the training of content digitisers. "
• Také bude monitorovat, jaký digitální materiál v kulturní oblasti už existuje - "Quantification of the volumes of digitised material in the sector is part of the current investigation efforts (data and information collection) focused on the situation in  digitisation; the outcomes of this work, including a forecast of the future situation will be  available in the first half of 2014."
• Pikantní jsou pasáže o dlouhodobé archivaci, kde se autorka odvolává na text "strategie"...dočteme se také, že "The purpose is to ensure equal access to cultural content in digital form for both the professional and lay public, digitise the cultural content, gather digital documents as part of cultural heritage, safely keep digital documents, create organisational and technical conditions for their permanent preservation and accessibility, provide for intersectoral cooperation, and secure funding. Qualitative and quantitative targets for long-term preservation of digital  material will be defined on the basis of the results of the ‘stocktaking’ of the state of digitisation and after defining the standards and methods"

Exhaustive overview, dokonce training digitalizátorů, kvantifikace digitalizovaného materiálu, stocktaling a definice standardů...máme se na co těšit.
